Alongside the Amstel River in a leafy suburb of Amsterdam, there’s a beacon of interior design like nowhere else in the world.

The Lute Suites, a series of self-contained hotel accommodation units, are the invention of Marcel Wanders, the legendary Dutch designer and long-time Bisazza collaborator.

Whilst following a general format of ground floor, mezzanine and top-floor bedroom, each of the handful of suites is dramatically different from the last and each has its own individual flair.

Beautifully furnished with Wanders’ own Moooi creations, the visually arresting interiors feature extensive application of Bisazza mosaic patterns and other surface materials to breathtaking effect.
