Modern minimalism with echoes of the ancient city bring a uniquely refined character to this central Rome hotel.

Designer Olga Polizzi, in collaboration with architect Tommaso Ziffer, has created magical spaces, harmonising modern design flair with striking architectural features at the Hotel de Russie.

The Nijinsky Suite (pictured) enjoys spectacular views across the Eternal City whose ancient heritage is celebrated in the design. The bold and distinctive WENGE’ NERO pattern adorns the bathroom floors. Black and white OPUS ROMANO tesserae, matching those featured in the WENGE’ design, cover the curvaceous walls and furnishings, arranged in a more minimalist style.

The finished design is a sophisticated balance of old and new to be enjoyed by the hotel’s refined clientele.
